A general Musing of my Summer

I cant believe my summer holiday is coming to an end!

I love coming to Sydney for my summer holidays since the family gets together and we all get to experience new and exciting things day by day. This summer was something special to me because my youngest aunt got married and i got to share this memorable moment with her since i was her maid of honour. This weeding was on of the highlights of my holiday. Afterwards, i got to celebrate my grandfather 80th birthday which is a milestone for him and for all of us as he survived a heart attack. I went to the city to go sight seeing and wondering around the beautiful busy streets of my home country. I went to Newcastle which is another state in New south wales, Sydney. I got to go hiking for a few times as well, lots of shopping in malls and pit streets, and finally i celebrated my 17th birthday with the whole family at a nice restaurant that looks over the whole Sydney city.

In this summer i got to do some volunteer work at the family business which is a child care centre, where i work in the office doing paper work like scanning and filling out forms, i also got to work with some kids and help them with activities they were assigned. This was a wonderful experience i got to do because i love working with kids and understand how a business works in a family.

Additionally, one of the other highlights of my summer was going to the University open days of all the universities in Sydney. I also got to chose the university i am going to when i graduate next year and i got to meet many lecturers and university students which i got to socialise with.

The part was that i am going to be coming back her next year to live in Sydney for the rest of my life which has been my wish ever since i left Sydney when i was 5 years old.  This summer has proved the best to me and showed me that i can see myself opening a new life ahead of me in this part of the world.

This summer was a lot of fun and a great work experience!
